On 16 September 2021, in the House of Representatives, Chairperson of the Standing Commission of the House of Representatives of the National Assembly of the Republic of Belarus on International Affairs, Head of the Working Group of the National Assembly of the Republic of Belarus on cooperation the Parliament of the Islamic Republic of Iran Andrei Savinykh had a meeting with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Islamic Republic of Iran to the Republic of Belarus Saeed Yari.

The parties discussed further expansion and deepening of cooperation through specialized commissions and friendship groups formed in the parliaments of both countries. 

Special attention was paid to the development of Belarusian-Iranian cooperation in banking and transport sectors, as well as in the field of higher education.

On 22 February 2024, Andrei Savinykh, the Chairperson of the Standing Commission of the House of Representatives of the National Assembly of the Republic of Belarus on International Affairs, the Head of the Belarusian delegation to the OSCE PA participated in the meeting of the General Committee on Economic Affairs, Science, Technology and Environment which took place in the framework of the Winter Session of the OSCE PA in Vienna.

On 22 February 2024, Andrei Savinykh, the Chairperson of the Standing Commission of the House of Representatives of the National Assembly of the Republic of Belarus on International Affairs, the Head of the Belarusian delegation to the OSCE PA participated in the activities of the first day of the 23 rd  OSCE PA Winter Meeting in Vienna  ( Republic of Austria ) .

22 – 23 February 2024,  Andrei  Savinykh ,  the Chair person  of the  Standing  Commission of the House of  R epresentatives of the National Assembly of the Republic of Belarus on  I nternational Affairs, the  H ead of the  Belarusian  delegation to the OSCE PA will take part in the  W inter  meeting  of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Organisation for Security and Co-operation in Europe, which will be held in Vienna (Republic of Austria).
