On 27 May 2021, the Parliamentary Assembly of the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe held an online meeting with Young Political Leaders as part of the “Call for Action — Helsinki +50 Process” initiative.
Young parliamentarians and political leaders from the OSCE region exchanged views on what they saw as priorities for the OSCE agenda and discussed initiatives to ensure a presence of youth in multilateral organisations.
It was noted that young people need more inclusive representation, including in decision-making processes, in order to restore confidence in multilateral co-operation mechanisms.
