On 5 February 2021, a working meeting was held between the Chairperson of the Standing Commission of the House of Representatives on International Affairs Andrei Savinykh and the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the French Republic to the Republic of Belarus Nicolas De Bouillane De Lacoste.

The parties discussed the current state of Belarusian-French relations, the prevailing political situation in the Republic of Belarus, as well as measures being taken in both countries to combat the COVID-19 pandemic.
