On 8 October 2020, a meeting of the Permanent Commission of the Interparliamentary Assembly of Member Nations of the Commonwealth of Independent States on Political Issues and International Cooperation was held in the format of a video conference.
The participants of the meeting approved a draft regulation on the participation of observers in the activities of the Assembly and decided to submit it to the IPA CIS Council for consideration.
The participants also discussed the impact of the consequences of the COVID-19 pandemic on armed conflicts and terrorist activities.
The meeting was attended by deputies of the House of Representatives of the National Assembly of the Republic of Belarus Tengiz Dumbadze and Valentina Razhanets.
