15 November 2017, the parliamentary delegation of the Republic of Belarus led by Vladimir Andreichenko, Chairman of the House of Representatives of the National Assembly of the Republic of Belarus, continued work on the program of an official visit to the Republic of the Sudan.
A meeting was held with Mohammed Ismail Mohammed, President of the MIG group of companies, the Honorary Consul of the Republic of Belarus in the Republic of the Sudan.
The sides discussed prospects for expanding bilateral Belarusian-Sudanese cooperation, as well as a number of other issues of mutual interest.
On the same day, the Belarusian parliamentarians got acquainted with the work of the Khartoum gold processing plant. During the conversation with the head of the Sudanese enterprise, the possibilities of using the Belarusian experience and developments in the activities of the Sudanese company were discussed.
In addition, during the visit, the first joint meeting of the bilateral working groups established in the parliaments of Belarus and the Sudan was held.
