November 20, 2020. Andrei Savinykh, chairman of the Standing Commission of the House of Representatives of the National Assembly of the Republic of Belarus on International Affairs, head of the delegation of the National Assembly of the Republic of Belarus to the PA OSCE, took part in an online conference entitled “The 30th Anniversary of the Charter of Paris: A Parliamentary Perspective”.
At the event they analyzed the long-term activities of the Parliamentary Assembly supporting the OSCE since its establishment. Speakers, experts, and legislators from the OSCE countries exchanged views on the trends in European security in the OSCE region. Special attention was paid to mechanisms of ensuring equal security for all. The conference participants focused on efforts to enhance the role of the OSCE as a regional organization as well as the effectiveness of its work.
