On 11 April 2017, within the framework of the official visit of the Belarusian parliamentary delegation, Vladimir Andreichenko held a meeting with Mamnoon Hussain, President of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan.
During the conversation, Mamnoon Hussain noted that Pakistan regarded Belarus as a country with serious economic potential and strives for further expansion of the bilateral relations. He expressed the opinion that the inclusion of Belarus in the China-Pakistan economic corridor would contribute to economic growth in the region.
Vladimir Andreichenko confirmed the firm interest of the Republic of Belarus to develop mutually beneficial cooperation with Pakistan and called for the opening of joint ventures in various spheres of the economy in the interests of the two countries.
Both sides noted opportunities for mutual cooperation in such areas as agriculture, industry, energy, education, healthcare, and pharmaceuticals.All news
