On 12 December 2019, in the House of Representatives a meeting was held between Mr. Andrei Savinykh, Chairperson of the Standing Commission of the House of Representatives of the National Assembly of the Republic of Belarus on International Affairs, and Mr. Alemayehu Tegenu Argau,
the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia to the Russian Federation with concurrent accreditation to the Republic of Belarus.
The parties discussed a wide range of issues related to the development of Belarusian-Ethiopian relations and exchanged opinions on current areas of cooperation.
Special attention was paid to the expansion of inter-parliamentary dialogue, profound cooperation in trade, economic, scientific, technological and humanitarian spheres.
