On 2 June 2017, in the House of Representatives, Vladimir Andreichenko, Chairman of the House of Representatives of the National Assembly of the Republic of Belarus, had a meeting with Kim Yong Ho, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Korea to the Republic of Belarus.
Vladimir Andreichenko noted the high level of cooperation in the political and economic spheres achieved over 25 years of diplomatic relations between the two countries. He spoke about the creation in the National Assembly of the Republic of Belarus of a working group on cooperation with the Parliament of the Republic of Korea. At the same time, the intention was expressed to develop further cooperation not only at the level of parliamentary working groups, but also between the leadership of the parliaments of the two countries.
Kim Yong Ho briefed about the proposals of Chung Sye-kyun, Speaker of the National Assembly of the Republic of Korea, related to intensifying mutual contacts, current bilateral meetings, and exchange of views with the leaders of the Belarusian and Korean parliamentary working groups.
During the meeting, the sides discussed the issues of participation of the House of Representatives in the Second Meeting of Speakers of Eurasian Countries’ Parliaments, scheduled to be be held in Seoul from 26 to 28 June, as well as the meeting of the heads of the parliaments of the two countries on the sidelines of the 137th Assembly of the Inter-Parliamentary Union in St. Petersburg on 14 – 18 October 2017.All news
