On 29 May 2017, in the House of Representatives, Valery Voronetsky, chairman of the Standing Commission of the House of Representatives of the National Assembly of the Republic of Belarus on International Affairs, had a meeting with Alexander Ben-Zvi, Director of the Eurasia Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the State of Israel.
The sides considered a wide range of issues of development of the Belarusian-Israeli relations. Particular attention was paid to expanding inter-parliamentary cooperation, deepening cooperation in trade, economic, cultural, scientific, technical and humanitarian spheres of activity.
During the meeting, Valery Voronetsky noted the positive dynamics of development of the bilateral relations between Belarus and Israel. Interest was shown in developing contacts at the level of working groups on cooperation between the parliaments of Belarus and Israel, as well as profile commissions of the parliaments.
The meeting was attended by Alon Shoham, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the State of Israel to the Republic of Belarus.All news
