During the conversation, an exchange of views took place on the state and prospects for the development of Belarusian-Georgian relations.

Both sides highly appreciated the inter-parliamentary cooperation and the promotion of people’s diplomacy.

The chairmen of both chambers of the National Assembly of the Republic of Belarus noted the readiness of the Belarusian side to implement the visit of the Chairman of the Parliament of Georgia to the Republic of Belarus this year.

The participants of the meeting expressed interest in further intensifying investment, interregional and humanitarian cooperation between Belarus and Georgia, including through holding business forums and cultural days.

The meeting was attended by the member of the Standing Commission of the House of Representatives of the National Assembly of the Republic of Belarus on International Affairs, the head of the working group of the National Assembly of the Republic of Belarus on cooperation with the Parliament of Georgia Vitaly Misevets and Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Belarus to Georgia Mikhail Myatlikov.
