On 8 May 2020, Valery Voronetsky and Valentina Razhanets, deputies of the House of Representatives of the National Assembly of the Republic of Belarus, took part in a webinar of the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly «Respecting human rights and maintaining democratic control during states of emergency» in the format of a videoconference.

Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland,
Turkey, Ukraine, the United Kingdom and the United States, as well as a range
of OSCE experts discussed aspects of the topics of the
OSCE PA General Committee on Democracy, Human Rights, and Humanitarian Questions in connection with states’ responses to the COVID-19 pandemic.
